Major restrictions
for travelInternational travel to Saudi Arabia is permitted for vaccinated travelers. There are exceptions for non-vaccinated citizens and those traveling for 'essential reasons'.
It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Travelers are required to have valid medical insurance covering COVID-19 costs for the duration of the stay. This does not apply to citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia and citizens of GCC member countries.

Vaccine requirements do not apply to Saudi citizens or those traveling for essential reasons. Authorized non-vaccinated travelers will be required to undergo quarantine for 5 days at a government facility, with further testing on days 2 and 5 of the quarantine period.

Vaccinated travelers must still provide a pre-departure test and may be randomly selected to be tested on arrival. Travelers are also required to have a suitable quarantine plan in place for 14 days as a precaution, even when seeking the fully vaccinated exemption.
